Hi, I’m Maddy.

A little about me.

I live in Oregon with my husband and our three children. I’m an elementary teacher by trade, and Grounded Lands is my personal business.

When my husband and I started looking for land ourselves, we saw how expensive and intimidating the process could feel. That experience inspired me to learn how land is bought and sold and to start Grounded Lands. I want to make finding land more approachable, with clear information, straightforward options, and a real person to talk with along the way.

To me, feeling grounded means having room to breathe, a sense of security, and space for what matters most.

After nearly two decades in education, I bring a teacher’s perspective to this work: listening carefully, explaining clearly, and making time for questions. I want you to know the person you’re talking with from the start.

Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, crocheting, and spending time at home with my family. I appreciate simple things, room to breathe, and the possibility of a new chapter.
